May 18 General Club Meeting: 6:00 PM, Mom & Pops Restaurant, 331 E. Bayview Ave., Norfolk, Come Early to socialize and to order your meal to be served at 7:00 PM. Money and LOVF Raffle stubs Due. Our new Lion Vince is to be installed. Lion Meta will provide the program.
May 19 Eyeglass Recycling, 10:00 AM, 2040 Broadmoor Ave., Chesapeake, Sort, clean, measure and prepare eyeglasses for recycling. Meet at 9:00 AM at Lion Tracy’s
May 27 SPOT Vision Screening- LGTB Life Center, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM, 5360 Robinhood Road, Norfolk.
May 29-31 Lions of Virginia State Convention, Bristol
May 30 Episcopal Church of the Advent Fair, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, 9629 Norfolk Ave,, Norfolk (Across from the O.V. Golf Course). We will have a table selling brooms and collecting sneakers and eyeglasses.
May 30 Attucks Theater, “Let Every Voice Be Heard”- 4:00 PM, Concert with people with disabilities. Meet at 2:45 at Lion Tracy’s to carpool.
May 31 Challenger Little League Game, 3:00 PM, Ocean View Elementary School Baseball Field, 350 W. Government St., Bring lawn chairs. Cheer for both teams!
June 6 SPOT Vision Screening- Hispanic Health Fair, 9:00 AM-01:00 PM, Dios de Adonai
Church, 5160 Beamon Rd, Norfolk. An interpreter will be available

July 9&16 Horizon Back Packing- Norfolk Collegiate School, Times TBA, Corner of Granby & Suburban Pkwy., Pack bags with food for children.
Community Garden: Miles Methodist Church. Call Lion Nancy R. (757-818-0911to help. We need Lions to sign up to water through the fall.
