What we do for our community:

Purchase specialized vision related equipment for use in our community. Assist with the vision needs at the New Glarus Home and Public Library

Purchase Retinomax K Plus Camera - Hand-Held Autorefractor for Africa Mission with Global Church Planting Partners

Wisconsin Lions EyeBank Tissue Transporters - Between Madison / Monroe

Collection of used glasses and hearing aids through collection boxes within our community

Built handicapped-accessible pavilion in a community park and helped finance other special needs, ie. specialized telephones, vehicle driver control modifications

Provide help to build and support the Wisconsin Lions Camp for the blind and deaf youth

Continued support for Leader Dog programs that help the physically challenged

Annual scholarships (4) provided for local students. Sponsor youth exchange programs

Our Club is proud of its record of providing services that the community and others have needed, and may not have received without our leadership and support. We have had great participation from our members and community in activities to raise funds for these special services, as well as for local scholarships and the Wisconsin Lions Camp.
