The Newburyport Leos Club meets at Newburyport High School. We are a service organization, affiliated with Lions Clubs and Lions International Foundation which includes over 1.5 million members world wide. Members are expected to attend club meetings which are held after school and our service/fundraising activities as available. Each year there are vast opportunities for members to serve as a club officer and/or chair a committee, volunteer for a service project.

EYEGLASS RECYCLING:

We collect used prescription eyeglasses for recycling. Please deposit glasses in our collection box at the main office of NHS during regular business hours. All eyeglasses are recycled by the Lions and given to the needy in countries around the world. Please deposit ONLY prescription eye glasses or sunglasses.

COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES:

LEOS VISIT LOCAL NURSING HOMES TO INTERACT WITH RESIDENTS, AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING AT KELLEHER PARK, ASSIST WITH LIONS BLOOD DRIVE, SALVATION ARMY COMMUNITY DINNERS, AND SO MUCH MORE.
