Our Achievements

Banner Patches from LCI                          

The 1^st Banner patch (I planted A Tree) was received by our club within the 124^th day from its inauguration. And also we are proud to announce that we became the first Lions Club from Multiple District306 to receive this banner patch.

On our 220^th day in Lionism we received our second Banner patch from the LCI for participating in the e-clubhouse program and for hosting an e –clubhouse.

On the 250^th day in Lionism we received our 3^rd Banner patch for International Club TWINNING. We TWINED our club with 2 international clubs, namely;

Thoranapple Valley Lions Club - of District 11-C-1 > Michigan USA

And Lions Club of Uberaba Santos Dumont of District LB-3 > Brasil

We received a "SERVING TOGETHER" Banner patch as our 4^th Banner patch from LCI, for the " A MEAL WITH KIDS" project which we jointly did with Leo Club of Bulathsinghala of District 306A2.

As our 5th Banner patch we received the Reading Action Program banner patch from LCI and this year too we were able to become the first Lions Club in the multiple district 306 to receive this Banner Patch from LCI.

The 6th Banner Patch was yet a gain for "SERVING TOGETHER” for the lionistic year 2012/2013 this was mainly for the joint projects we did with our sponsoring Leo Club.

The 7th Banner Patch came our way for sponsoring the Mahanama College Leo Club.

As our 8th Banner Patch we received the “Club Excellence Award” Banner Patch from LCI for the year 2011-2012 for successfully meeting the requirements in the area of membership growth, service and club management set by the International Board of Directors.
