Nashua Lions Serve

In September 1923, a group of prominent business leaders in Nashua formed the second Lions Club in the state of New Hampshire.  These leaders had a vision for the future of the Gate City and Lions Club International. Since that time, the Nashua Lions have been a driving force in the city’s history.  Former Mayors, Aldermen and other state elected officials have accepted membership in the Club and have made the Nashua Lions a leader in the community. Their vision continues today through the efforts of the women and men of the Nashua Lions Club.

Congratulations to MCC Kamal Masand and his Convention Team for a great weekend highlighted by district business, special awards, a service project and lots of good fellowship! Here are a few pictures that just give a hint of the event activities.
Later KL Ed delivered some of the socks and hygiene kits that were packaged during the weekend. Accepting the items for the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter was Lisa Lewis.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
