We are your local Lions Club of Monmouth. We are part of Lions Clubs International, a community service organisation dedicated to fostering a community spirit and helping those in need.

We raise funds by our fundraising events so that we can donate money to worthy causes, whether individuals or organisations - helping people in our local community, nationally and internationally. 

We normally raise funds locally from the following although these activities will be dependant on the Coronavirus situation:

• Easter Egg Raffle
• Annual Plant sales
• Equine Fun rides
• Monmouth Show car parking
• Street collections
• Supper evenings
• Supermarket Christmas bag packing 
• Any other ideas we can come up with

Our members devote as much or as little time as they are able. It's not all hard work. We have lots of social events, quiz nights, skittles, BBQs, meals, etc.

Our club was chartered on 17th May 1974, and the original members of the club at that time were:
