Millersburg is located in Central Pennsylvania on the east side of the Susquehanna River between Harrisburg and Sunbury.
THE GAZEBO IN MARKET SQUARE
We invite you to experience the uniqueness of small-town America.
Whether you're taking a leisurely ride on the historic Millersburg Ferry or
shopping at our downtown merchants, Millersburg will leave you with an
unforgettable experience of an earlier time when life moved a little slower.
THE MILLERSBURG FERRY
The Millersburg Ferry
Nestled Among Pennsylvania's beautiful mountains lies the historic town of Millersburg - home of a unique transportation service whose very beginnings are lost in antiquity. Here, across the mile wide Susquehanna, one can ride the last ferry on the river and experience a part of transportation history.
THE SWINGING BRIDGE
The New Swinging Bridge
The original Swinging Bridge was washed away on June 22, 1972 by Hurricane Agnes. The NEW Swinging Bridge, we're very happy to say was re-opened in November of 1996. It connects Millersburg's two waterfront parks. The MYO Park is home to the town's baseball diamond. The other waterfront park is home to the Historic Millersburg Ferry, Millersburg Gun Club and most of the boat docks in the community.
THE NED SMITH CENTER
The Ned Smith Center
Ned Smith was a self-trained artist, writer and naturalist who created thousands of drawings and paintings of wildlife during his distinguished career. These paintings and drawings were published in numerous books, magazines and other publications. "Gone for the Day" was the monthly column he wrote for the Pennsylvania Game News Magazine from January, 1966 through December, 1969. A collection of these columns was published in book form in 1971.
TRAIN STATION
Millersburg Train Station
In its day, the Millersburg Train Station was probably the center for most travel out of the community. Now owned by the Historical Society, it has been completely restored.
