McHenry LIons Club scholarship will be awarded to a McHenry High School senior who will attend McHenry County College or another Illinois community college beginning summer or fall 2024.

Scholarship applicants who intend to pursue an Associate of Applied Science degree or a certificate program at McHenry County College or other Illinois commnity college are eligible to apply for the McHenry Lions club scholarship.  The successful applicant should demonstrate scholastic abilities, commnity contribution and a committment to completeng a program which will lead to employment.

This is a $500.00 one-time scholarship to be awarded after successful completion of one college semester.  One scholarship will be awarded.  One letter of recommendation should be included with the application.  The completed application with all supporting documentation is due to the address above by April 10, 2024.

The scholarship award will be presented at the McHenry High School Honors assembly in May 2024 The winner and a guest will be invited to a meeting of the McHenry Lions Club.  Questions should be directed to McHenry High School guidance dept.
