Lions Comprehensive Eye Care Project for Kigezi

This project, also approved for funding by LCIF and the Latter-Day Saints Charities, will provide cataract treatment services at six secondary-level hospitals in Kigezi region as a way of increasing access to cataract surgery and other eye care services for people who previously needed to travel over 200km to see an ophthalmologist.

The Pediatric cancer clinic at the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH). 

We support the Pediatric cancer clinic with regular food donations, scholarstic materials and financial support. 

Tree Planting in Secondary Schools

The club has championed tree planting in secondary schools in south western Uganda. The schools include; MaryHill High School, Boniconcilli Girls SS, St. Hellens Primary Schools among others.
