Meetings

Maun is the Tourism Hobb of Botswana, north-west of the capital city of Gaborone. In February 2012, a group of public spirited people, mostly business people and educationists, got together under the guidance of the District Governor to form a Lions Club to serve their community. This club now known as Maun-Greater Lions Club was chartered on 21 March 2012.

Our present membership consists of more than 27 men and women, from many walks of life and cultural backgrounds, and with ages from the mid-30's to the late 50's.

These men and women are always ready to adopt new and better ways of doing things as they realise that with changes come development; therefore they are prepared to make a difference wherever and whenever possible.
