Our thanks go to everyone at these collection points. Once Collected the spectacles are boxed and sent to Chichester Lions where the lenses are removed. They are polished, classified according to prescription before being distributed to be used for Lions Sight Savers projects around the world.
This club collects around 500 pairs of spectacles a month. It has been calculated that over 60,000 pairs of spectacles have been collected since the club started taking part in the project.
