Featured programs are presented at the Wednesday noon Los Gatos Lions Club meetings at 12 PM to 1:30 PM, at the Masonic Lodge on Main St., Los Gatos, 95032
January 7, 2026: Sara Quuilici, Los Gatos High School girls basketball coach, and some of the team members will be presenting.
January 14, 2026: Ann Ravel, attorney and lecturer at UC Berkeley. Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General at The United States Department of Justice and Former County counsel at County of Santa Clara. Ann is also a Los Gatos Lions club member.
January 21, 2026: New Lion District Governor George Clark will share his plans for the New Year. Lion Stanford Stickney will make a short preview of a Strutt wheelchair which is designed to avoid obstacles.
January 28, 2026: Lion Alex Shultz will return with the final memories of his father George P. Shultz. He was an American economist, businessman, diplomat, and statesman who served in various positions under Presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. A member of the Republican Party, he is one of the only two persons to have held four different Cabinet-level posts. He was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Reagan in 1989.
February 4, 2026: Los Gatos Saratoga Union High School District Superintendent Heath Rocha, will give updates and information on what's happening in the District.
February 11, 2026: Los Gatos Lions Club Student Speakers Contest. This will be the first round of presentations. This year's topic is: "Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Well-Being"
February 18, 2025: Los Gatos residents, Stuart and Maggie Cheshire, will talk about their exhibit at the annual "Burning Man" event. They will tell us about the event and their plans for this year's exhibit. Burning Man is a week-long large-scale desert event focused on "community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance" held annually in the Western United States.
April 1, 2026: Los Gatos High School Choir.
August 12, 2026: Stanford Blood Center coordinator, Clayton Toller, will give the presentation for the annual Blood Drive happening on Wednesday 8/19/26.
August 19, 2026: Stanford Blood Drive Location and time to be determined
