October 9, 2024: Dave Poetzinger, Principal of Los Gatos High School. This is Dave's first year as principal of the school. He previously was on of the vice principals.
Octobert 16, 2024: Mark Purdy, retired sports columnist for the Bay Area News Group, will be the featured speaker and introduce his new book, "The San Francisco 49ers: An illustrated Timeline".
October 23, 2024: Presentation by Jamie Field, Chief of Police, Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department
October 30, 2024: Lion Bob Stewart, member of Freedom Lions Club and Bob serves as the District 4-C6 Global Service Coordinator.
November 6, 2024: Los Gatos High School Iron Claw Robotics program. The highschool has a Robotics Applied Arts program for students in grades 9-12. Robotics teacher Rodrigo Coppelli will be making the presentation and bringing a 125 lb. robot that the class has created. Their accomplishments are amazing. Their recent achievements: 2024 Silicon Valley Regional Semi-Finalist and 2024 Silicon Valley Regional Industrial Design Award. Take a look at this great photo collection with their creations.
November 13, 2024: Nick Ward, Los Gatos High School, varsity boys basketball coach. Nick will give updates for the upcoming season and introduce a few of the players. The achievements in the three years Nick has been coach: 2021-2022 Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division Champions, 2022-2023 SCVAL De Anza League Champions, Central Coast Division 1 Runner-Up, CIF Nor-Cal Playoffs, 2023-2024 SCVAL De Anza League Champions, CCS Division 1 Champions, CIF Nor-Cal Playoffs. Also named 3X SCVAL Coach of the Year.
November 20, 2024: Richard Holmboe, Whale docent Volunteer at Pigeon Point Lighthouse near - Pescadero for the past six years. Gray whales that migrate from Baja to Alaska come to the cove for rest and protection from predators. Working with California State Parks staff, docents are the lifeblood with their expert knowledge of the historic site. Holmboe is writing a series of stories for educational materials to be available on-site.
December 4, 2024: Presentation by Alice Dang, the outreach spokesperson with the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Alice is part of the Clinical Core of the Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC)
December 11, 2024: Cam Inman, a Bay Area News Group sports reporter who covers the San Francisco 49ers for The Mercury News and East Bay Times. He joined the Bay Area News Group in 1995, though he delivered the San Jose News growing up in Cupertino and turned pro as a sportswriter with the Cupertino Courier in 1988. He covered youth and high school sports upon joining Pleasanton's Valley Times in 1995, and he's since covered most college and pro teams as both a reporter and columnist, though the 49ers and NFL are his specialties. Cam graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BA degree in journalism. "The Franchise: San Francisco 49ers: A Curated History of the Niners", was just released.
December 18, 2024: Presentation by NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness. The mission and values of NAMI Santa Clara County are to help people with a lived experience of mental illness and families by providing support, education and advocacy; to promote research; to reduce stigma and discrimination in the community; and to improve services by working with mental health professionals and families.

February 5, 2025: Special performance by the Los Gatos High School Choir, directed by Maricel Riley. Choir will begin their performance at 1:30 PM. This is a good time to bring a guest.
Pending: Norma Lucía Piña Hernández, is a Mexican lawyer, educator, and President of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation since January 2, 2023, being the first woman ever to hold that position. She's been a member of the Supreme Court since 1 December 2015, replacing Olga Sánchez Cordero. Born: 1960 (age 63 years), Mexico City, Mexico. Education: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, BENM - Benemérita Escuela Nacional de Maestros.
Pending: Leslie Osborne, Bay FC, Women's National Soccer League. Bay FC is the first NWSL team in the Bay Area. Co-founded by four U.S. Women’s National Team legends—Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton, and Leslie Osborne—in partnership with global investment firm Sixth Street, Bay FC is changing the face of women’s soccer as we know it.
