March 12, 2025:  Daniel Brown, staff editor/writer for The Athletic MLB., New York Times. He began covering Bay Area sports in 1995, including stints as a beat writer covering the Giants and 49ers. His feature story on Sergio Romo and a young cancer patient won first place in feature writing from the Associated Press Sports Editors in 2015. He is a native of Cotati, Calif., and a graduate of UC Davis.  The Athletic, a New York times company, is the largest sports newsroom there is: 450 of the best sports journalists covering daily sports stories and the world's biggest sports moments.                                                                                                                                              
March 19,2025:  Lion Jeff Lochner, Attorney.  Jeff is a graduate of the Santa Clara University School of Law.  He was admitted to the state Bar of California in 1986.  At this time in America's change in leadership, so many changes have rapidly happened.  It's a good time to learn and ask more.  Jeff will provide an insight into the U. S Constitution and how it impacts our government.  A good time to ask questions. Jeff is the son of Lion John Lochner.                                                                                                                                          
March 26, 2025:  Bradley Davis, Chancellor of the West Valley-Mission Community College District.  Dr. Davis brings over 25 years of excellent leadership in his role.  He has served as Chancellor for 6 years. He holds the highest distinction of being the longest tenured president in West Valley College history.  He holds many significant accomplishments. His leadership is distinguished with establishing the nationally recognized Veteran's Resouce Center.                                                                                                                                               
April 2, 2025:  Ann Ravel, attorney, who was a Democratic Commissioner on the Federal Election Commission, an independent regulatory agency created by Congress to administer and enforce campaign finance law. Ravel was appointed by President Obama on June 21, 2013, and, after unanimous confirmation by the United States Senate, took office on October 25, 2013. She was Chair of the commission for 2015, and Vice Chair in 2014. Ravel resigned from the commission on February 19, 2017, effective March 1, 2017. She is currently a professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.  Ann Ravel was a candidate in the 2020 election for California State Senate in District 15, but lost to Dave Cortese. Ann lives in Los Gatos.                                                                                                                                                                  
April 9,   2025: Lisa Blanchard, Executive Director and Founder of the "Grateful Garment Project".  The Grateful Garment Project’s (TGGP) mission is to ensure that every victim of a sexual crime who crosses the threshold of a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) facility or who seeks medical attention and/or law enforcement involvement is provided with whatever new clothing, toiletries, snacks, and other miscellaneous items that they may require. We have further expanded our mission and vision to encompass all victims of sexual violence. This includes, but is not limited to Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) and victims of Human Sexual Trafficking (HST).  Ways to help make a difference with your clothing or donation.                                                                                                                                                             
April 16, 2025:  Mike Minkel, Los Gatos High School Varsity Baseball Head Coach.  Coach Minkel returns to the Wildcats after two years as an assistant coach at Valley Christian High School, where the Warriors won the D1 CCS championship in 2021 and finished as semifinalists for both CCS and NorCal in 2022.  Prior to his arrival at Los Gatos for the 2019-20 seasons, Coach Minkel served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater (Cumberland University) from 2007-09. After spending one season as an assistant at Mission College in 2010, Minkel joined the staff at Saratoga High School (2011-15) where the Falcons won two SCVAL De Anza league championships. Minkel returned to coach at Cumberland from 2016-19, while also pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education.  Prior to teaching at LGHS, Minkel worked in Baseball Operations with the San Francisco Giants from 2010-13.                                                                            
April 23, 2025Kimberly Snyder, Executive Director of NUMU, New Museum of Los Gatos.    A  current acclaimed exhibition is,  ArtNow 2025: Dreamscapes.  ArtNow is an annual juried Santa Clara County High School art exhibition and educational program, presented by New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU). The ArtNow Exhibition and supporting programs offer opportunities for high school student artists, from Palo Alto to Gilroy, to gain real-world experience in participating in a juried museum exhibition. Each year, a new theme is chosen for the exhibition and students are asked to submit works based on that theme.  New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU), formerly the Museums of Los Gatos, founded in 1965, is a public non-profit art and history museum located in the Civic Center Plaza in downtown Los Gatos.                                                                                       
April 30, 2025 :  Lion Bob Kalpin.                                                                                                                                          
May 7, 2025:  Lieutenant Colonel Walker Pearce-Percy, Los Gatos Lion's Club member.  Walker is currently serving as an Air Force Reserve pilot flying the C-5 out of Travis AFB, Fairfield Ca and is commander of the 312th Airlift Squadron. In the civilian world Walker is a pilot for United Airlines where he is currently on the Boeing 777 out of San Francisco International Airport. Graduating from LGHS in 1997 he went on to graduate from the United States Air Force Academy and receive his commission as an officer in the Air Force in 2001. Walker is the recipient of multiple Air medals, Meritorious Service medals, and having flown nearly 200 combat sorties.                                                                                                                                     
May 14, 2025: Chris Constantin, the new Los Gatos Town  Manager.  The Town Manager provides overall administration, leadership, and direction for the Town organization.  The Department is also responsible for human resources, finance, budgeting, purchasing, labor relations, public information, and technology services.                                                                                       
May 21, 2025:  Los Gatos Lions Club Scholarships presented to Los Gatos High School seniors.  Lion Mike Destro, Scholarship chairman, will present.                                                                                                                                                    
May 28, 2025: Steve Chen, Lion and member of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, LGSUHSD,  Board of Trustees.  Steve will be talking about thre LGHS Wellness Center.
