The Early Bird Lions meet twice a month on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Both meetings take place at 6 PM at Canterbury Park in Longview.

There is also a business meeting for club members on the second Wednesday of the month at 8 AM.


What do we do?

Through our devotion to you and our community... Longview Kelso Early Bird Lions has provided the following for both past and moving into the future:

  • Provide assistance for low income individuals for eye glasses, hearing aids and cataract surgeries.
  • Provide Scholarships to qualified Kelso and Longview High School Students
  • Assist by contributing both time and money to the Washington Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit
  • Provide 1500 to 2000 trees to the public at Earth Day each year in conjunction with Weyerhaeuser who donates the trees.
  • Provide financial support for two campers at Camp Leo which is a diabetic youth camp each year.
  • Provide a Flags for First Graders program for 150 to 200 hundred students.
  • We buy four hundred dollars worth of school supplies which is matched pound for pound by Red Canoe Credit.
