Fundraising begins with FUN and being a member of the Lions family means enjoying the friendship and cameraderie of Lions throughout the world. This year Leigh Lions members have held the following social events:
- A Cheese & Wine Evening;
- A Canal Boat Trip on the Bridgewater Canal;
- A Greek Evening at Haydock Golf Club;
- Barbarques;
- Formal Charter Evenings at Rixton with Glazebrook, Birchwood and Warrington Lions Clubs; and
- A Formal Celebration of Leigh Lions Club 20th Charter Anniversary;
