Eye TissueTransporters- We are 1of the 7 clubs who make up the Fox Valley Area transporter group. We have 3 dispatchers and over 30 members who transport tissue from the Fox Valley area hospitals to a drop off point in Fond du Lac. We meet up with a member from another Lions Club at that point and they continue the trek to the Eye Bank in Madison. We also meet up with these members and assist with transporting tissue back to the area eye surgery centers for transplants.                             

Build wheelchair ramps for area residents.

Provide vision screening to daycares and grade schools in the area. Offer any recommendations for follow up to children who may need glasses.

Help community residents with medical equipment needs at the Fox Valley MJ Tassoul Medical Loan Locker. This is a joint venture with 11 other Lions Clubs in our area. We assist people with anything from crutches and walkers all the way up to a hospital style bed. 

The Kaukauna Lions Club is also able to help members of our community by making them aware of the Sturm Humanitarian Foundation. We are lucky enough to have access to funds in our district for those who need help covering large medical bills. We also get to help raise funds for the Foundation every year at their annual golf outing.   

Hold monthly bingo games with elderly residents at the local nursing home along with providing cash prizes.

Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids from throughout the community and deliver them for processing at the Eyeglass Recyling Center located at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt Wisconsin.

Serve food and beverages at the yearly Hydro Park concert series and other community events

The Lions Club members enter a float in the Annual City Christmas Parade.

At Christmas we are involved with "The Adopt a Family", a program that helps needy families in making their Christmas a happier time.

Purchase eye glasses for those in need.

Provide multiple scholarships for high school students. Scholarships are offered for both 4 year schools and techical schools.

Sponsor wishes for Make a Wish Foundation. Make many donations to charities and organizations in our community including but not limited to:the YMCA, the City Library, the local Police & Fire Departments and many various local fund raisers.

Donate to International, State and District B-2 projects.
