[An Idea Who’s Time Has Come]

An idea that came into the minds of a few leading members in 2009, that crystallised to form a new club Lions Club of Kandivali Western Express.  With the lead by Ln. Dr. Vijay Agarwal, Dr. Kavita Agawal, Ln. V. Vaidyanathan, Ln. Lt. S. P. Shukla and other 29 members the formation was completed and inaugurated the club in June 2009.  PDG Lion Shyam Malpani, as our mentor and who sponsored the club and PDG Ln.S. Vishwanath as our Guiding Lion.

The club has since then never looked back and has been consistently progressing year by year.  Today in its 11^th year the quality and value of the charity activity has only increased.  Today our club is known in the District 3231A3 as pioneer club in Medical and Health care activities. We reach to the poor and needy even in remote and extended area of the District.

Our past Presidents Include Charter President Ln. V. Vaidyanathan, Ln. Dr. Kavita Agarwal, Ln. Neeraj Golas, and Ln. Narayan Akadas, Ln. Dr. Viraj Sanghavi, Ln. Tarun Chandra, Ln. . P. Bansal, Ln. Bhadresh Gandhi.  Now under the Presidentship of Ln. Babulal Sharma our club strength is 40 quality members.  Our members include Professionals like Doctors, Chartered Accountants and Advocates besides successful businessmen in the field of construction and building, and engineering.
