Become A Lion!

Help the neediest in our community, gain leadership skills and meet new friends. It’s all possible when you join the James City Lions Club.

To start, send an email to jamescitylionsclub@yahoo.com with your name, email address and phone number. You’ll receive an invitation to be a guest at an upcoming breakfast meeting. We meet on the  2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month,  7:30 – 8:30 a.m., at Ford’s Colony Country Club. You will learn more about us and meet  like-minded people giving back to their community.

A Club member will assist you as your sponsor. You will complete a MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION . Your application will be submitted for approval at the next Board meeting. The new member fee is $100 which includes your customized shirt and name tag and local and international initiation dues.

Our motto is “together we serve,” and we do this in a variety of ways. Our primary focus areas are vision, hearing, hunger, youth programs, the environment, pediatric cancer and diabetes. Camaraderie among members adds to the success of our mission whether they are working on a project, raising funds, or attending a social event.
