CLUB HISTORY
The Itajubá Inconfidência Lions Club was founded in May and chartered on the 6th September 1969, and is located in Itajubá, Minas Gerais - Brazil.
We have now celebrated our forty-one years and today the club has 13 members of whom 06 are ladies.
We were sponsored by our neighbor, the Itajubá Centro Lions Club.
Through the years, we have organized and take part in community activities, donate money to a variety or local causes, and do fundraising to finance our work.
Membership is open to men and women that are keen to help of all those less fortunate.
Since it was formed our club has been very active in promoting social activities and, at the same time, helping to make our community a better place to live in.
Our club is continually changing its programs to meet new needs and greater demands.
We are part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest and most active service organization consisting of some 44,500 clubs spread through 200 countries and with a total members of over 1.3 million. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian.
Lions is part of a worldwide family of friends.
