Our Continuing Focus

Founded by three Detroit-area Lions Clubs members in 1939, Leader Dogs for the Blind provides guide dogs to people who are blind and visually impaired to enhance their mobility, independence and quality of life.
Each year, over 270 clients attend our 26-day residential training program to be paired with a guide dog. This is a life-changing event that opens the door to independence, safety and self-worth for many of our clients.
The Isanti Lions Club is an active supporter of this program and has helped many people get paired up with a Leader Dog. If you, or someone you know could benefit from the Leader Dog Program, go to the Request Assistance page and fill out our online application.

Every year, the Isanti Lions Club rallies the community and organizes gift and food collections for the less fortunate.

We Serve hundreds of families every year providing them with food for holiday dinners and gifts for the children.

If you would like to donate to this program, or would like to be considered as a recipient, contact the Isanti Lions Club for more information. We respect people's privacy and dignity every step of the way.

Lions International is best know for its efforts in helping the hearing and site impaired.

The Isanti Lions Club is no exception. Throughout the year we collect used Eye Glasses and Hearing Aids so they can be redistributed to those who cannot afford them.

If you would like to apply for a assistance, please fill out the online form on the Request Assistance Page. If you have eye glasses or hearing aid you can donate, PLEASE contact the Isanti Lions Club right away! There are people needing these items in our community.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting Service members and their families with community support, training, services and resources. To learn more about this program, visit or contact the Isanti Lions Club.

The Isanti Lions Club supports and promotes a variety of other programs as well. Always feel free to contact our club for more information.
