School Vision Photo - screening

Four Twin County Lions Clubs (Fries, Independence, Galax and Hillsville participate in Student and adult eye screening in the county public schools as welll as some private schools such as pre-school and day care facilities.  Using the latest computerized technology, the vision instruments quickly determine if the student has a vision impairment which requires further profesional examination.  This information is given to the proper school officials who notify the parents.  

Community Health Fairs

The Club participates in various Health Fairs in the Twin Counties by invitation.
