- Our latest project in the 2015/16 Lionistic year was to fund a complete additional kit for the Mulbarton Community First Responders costing £3500.
- We successfully formed a Lions Campus Club at the UEA from the students. This was the first in the country and enables students to spend some of their spare time working in the community to help those less fortunate than themselves and raising money for local charitable causes. Our aim is to keep this Club active by recruiting new members as new students enrol at the UEA by attending the Freshers' Fair each year.
- To invite local schools to take part in our Young Leaders in Service (YLIS) project. In schools the students have to get involved with service in their communities as part of the national curriculum. The students log their hours of service in a log book and get this verified and signed by the recipients of their work We can then reward them with a certificate (Silver for 50hrs service and/or Gold for 100hrs) from Lions Clubs International signed by the International President.
