LY 2023- 2024
- 6 new members joined the GSLC roster.
- 8 new members became MJFs; 3 advanced their PMJFs to higher levels.
- 11 Senior Cit. Cntrs. were visited, each one receiving $200 worth of supplies.
- HV, supplies ($300) for Helen and Smith Fiti. (2/22/24)
- MD, $350 to Lloyd Robers: treatment at Good Samaritan Hospital, LA. (2/23/24)
- GSLC participated in District's Health Fair at Micronesia Mall (1/20/24)
- Electric bed (donor L. Fe Ovalles) donated to Catholic Social Services 12/28/23
- Raffle fundraiser successfully concluded with drawing on 12/9/23
- Medical Expense Donations of $350 each granted to: Geraldo Vivas Jr, 59; Teresita Barcinas, 80; Teresita Arriola, 88; Bertha Camacho, 58, and Evelyn Fejerang, 77.
- Home Visit to Dolores Villasoto, 88, recipient of $200 in supplies and an electric bed.
- 12 new members inducted on 11/25/23; Orientation held 10/8/23
- GSLC members attended District Health Fair at Sinajana Community Center 9/10/23
LY 2022-2023
- GSLC awarded "Club of the Year" award for LY 2022-2023 on 7/31/23
- $5000 career training scholarship awarded to GWHS senior Paul Bigler
- $7500 in food and supplies donated to individuals with disabilities after Typhoon Mawar
- $10,000 in food and supplies donated to 100 families ($100 per family), Typhoon Mawar victims.
- "Caring for the Sick and the Elderly" project continued with Home Visits and Medical Donations.
- New MJFs: L. Johnny Villagomez, L. Linda Villagomez, L. Mary Ann Sablan, L. Barbara Jean Flores. New PMJF: L. Fe Ovalles.
LY 2021 - 2022
- ​GSLC and the Guam Marianas Training Center partnered to award a career-oriented training scholarship worth approximately $4000 to an Okkodo High School senior. Scholarship program will continue annually, one senior from different high school per year.
- Two bus shelters adopted and renovated in two villages.
- $10,000 provided to 100 families through club's Family Assistance Program; each family received $100 in food, groceries, and essential items.
- Donation of used clothing to the Inalajan Mayor's Office for those in need.
- Medical Donations ($250 - $350) to: Loling and Pete Blaz, Jerry M. Joaquin, Ramon Camacho, veteran Peter Ungacta, Jesus Taisipic, pediatric cancer patient Cohen Rai Reyes, Anthony Pangelinan, Carmelita A. Cruz, Jacob Viloria, Carmen Cabrera, and David Torres.
- Home Visits ($200 in supplies provided) to: Julie Materne, Jesse Babauta, Tomas Gumataotao, and Piliana Loney.
- New MJFs: Lion Mary Castro and Lion Helen Mendiola.
- $1000 donation for Tonga Disaster Relief.
- $500 Hunger Relief donation to Ministry to the Homeless..
- $500 Humanitarian donation to the Sisters of Mercy.
- $500 donation to the Guam Diabetes Association.
- $1000 Hunger Relief donation to the Ministry to the Homeless.
LY 2020 - 2021
- Medical Donations to; Chrisha T. Salas, Michelle B. Duenas, and Shane Mendiola.
- Home Visits to: Lucille G. Iriarte, Jane L.G. Quenga, Eddie Santos, Tomas and Virginia Aguon.
- Vision Project: 129 pairs of used glasses mailed to LCI.
- $500 donation to fire victims Balajadia family of Yona.
- Wheelchair ramp donation to St. Dominic's Senior Care Facility.
- New MJFs: Lions Flo Terlaje, Lien Samiana, and Rosita Crisostomo.
LY 2019-2020
- Over $32,000 raised in Nov 2019 raffle ticket sales; proceeds designated for "Caring for the Sick and the Elderly" project as well as other LCI areas of community and other humanitarian service projects.
- $10,000 donated to 100 Covid-19 impacted individuals (job loss, reduced hours, loss of source of income). Each received a $50 check and a $50 gift certificate to a local grocery store.
- $1000 donated to the Ministry to the Homeless of the Archdiocese of Hagatna for its feeding the hungry program.
- $1000 donated to LCIF to benefit the victims of Mount Taal volcanic eruption in the Philippines.
- 12 sick or elderly individuals received a maximum of $200 worth of supplies each during Home Visits.(Total Donation - $2,400)
- 36 individuals received donations ranging from $200 - $350 each to help defray their medical treatment expenses.(Total Donation - $9,500)
- 8 Senior Citizen Centers were visited, during which time each center received $200 worth of supplies. (Total Donation - $1,600)
