Irmo's Okra Strut - no participation since ~2015
This club supported this event from 1987 to ~2018. Since that time the folks running the event contacts us in their 11th hour, but will not provide any answers to the club's questions. Until their information becomes more transparent, this project may just go the way of the Dodo.

Night for Sight - cancelled by Winnsboro LC, 2021
For 2020, this event was cancelled due to the pandemic. The 2021 season was also cancelled due to COVID19 breakout and ultimately, the entire event was cancelled by the Winnsboro LC. Since that time, our choice announcer, Joe Pinner also passed away.

Belk's Charity Day
After many years of participation, Belk took their event online using an online application developer. Where before they allowed all non-profit organizations, i,e, 501(c) classifications to participate, the online version only allows 501(c)(3) organizations, i.e. tax free organizations only. Because GILC is a 501(c)(4) entitiy we can no longer participate..

GILC's Golf Tournament
Mid Carolina Country Club in Prosperity has been the location of this event since it's inception, in 2003. Our 18th annual event in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and is the only one ever to be cancelled, to date. This event generally, takes place ~ September, annually.

This project was completed with its presentation to Governor Henry McMaster at the SC State House, 1100 Gervais Street, 29208.
