The Lions Community Hall is a modern
purpose built air conditioned hall with a fully equipped modern kitchen, conference room, and lavatory. The
hall has recently been repainted and refurbished with an updated kitchen and new floor coverings including a polished parquetry area. The
hall is located just below the East Gosford shopping precinct and central to shopping and accomodation.
The kitchen has been furnished with cupboard space, an industrial sized gas range, hot and cold water, a stainless steel boiling water dispenser, and a refrigerator.
The hall is ideal for Weddings,
Birthdays, Conferences, family celebrations and can be rented out to sports clubs, dance/ballet clubs, etc. by permanent
or weekly ongoing arrangement.
The hall can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people and is set in a natural parkland environment.
The club can assist by providing
access to local catering suppliers.
The hall hire helps to provide funds
for a variety of activities and caters for business functions, BBQ. and Sausage Sizzle Fundraising, as well as
supporting local events and community projects.
The hall also helps to sponsor
disadvantaged children to go on camping trips. There is also a sponsorship for the Camp for Deaf
Children as well as an ongoing sponsorship for an overseas student. Funds from a recent drive added a
timber deck to the "Cancer Support Unit's Cottage" at the Gosford City Hospital.
