Community Service Projects
Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids from 21 collection sites in the county, which are redistributed in impoverished countries.
Collect used postage stamps that are distributed to Veteran's Hospitals by the Lions International Stamp Club.
Adopt a family at Thanksgiving and Christmas providing food baskets and gift certificates.
Collect and distribute items for Appalachia.
Collect aluminum can tabs for the Ronald McDonald house.
Maintain a small inventory of hospital/convalescent equipment available to the public at no charge.
Participate in the DELDOT Adopt-A-Highway program.

Sell lemonade at Newark Community Day in September.
Vision Days collection to benefit Wilmer Institute for Eye Research and Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley.

WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
All funds raised from events involving the general public are returned to the community in the form of service to individuals or organizations.
During the last 28 years, the Lions of Glasgow have given back over $108,500 to our community and the organizations we support.
We have provided $26,500 in scholarship funds to 35 local seniors for their education.
Participate in the Toys for Tots program.
Annually pay for eye exams and eyeglasses for eligible residents in the community who cannot afford them.
