Gilbert Lions Club Educator Grants

The Gilbert Lions Club is offering a $200 grant each month during the school year to teachers and employees who work directly with students. This grant is to help with projects, supplies, activities or other materials needed to help you and your students. The grants will be given each month, August through May, of the school year.

APPLY FOR A GRANT

Eligibility: Any teacher or staff member of a Gilbert Public School who works directly with students.

Application required info and guidelines: Teacher/Staff member may apply for the Gilbert Lions Club Educator Grant by completing the form at this link - https://forms.gle/Dut54NMkCZcgbe8D6. The application requires:

Name of Applicant with position and name of school
Name & email address of Principal of assigned school
Number of children who will benefit
Description and purpose of project that will use the funds awarded
Applications should be submitted by the 15th of the month - each award will be made by the end of each month of the school year. (August thru May)
Application submitted is valid for the entire school year
Applicant may submit more than one grant application during the year
Applicant can only receive one grant per school year

Awarding the Checks: The award will be made monthly in the amount of $200.00. A formal presentation of the check will be organized with the administrator to present the award to the selected teacher or staff by the last school day of the award month and a photo will be taken. Also, photos of the activity or purchase would be greatly appreciated. The photos will be made available to the Gilbert Lions Club for publicity and Lions International reporting.

Details: The decision of the awards committee is final and all awards will be subject to having available funds. This program may be terminated at any time. The check will be payable to the educator who applied for the grant.
