Our Applebees Fundraiser was a Huge Hit!
On April 1, 2023, the Gig Harbor Lions put on a Flapjack Fundraiser in cooperation with the Gig Harbor Applebee's restaurant. We raised $2788 to benefit the Mary Bridge Childhood Cancer Family Support group and high school scholarships for our three local high schools. Working together with our generous community, we also collected 81 new fuzzy teady bears for the kids undergoing cancer treatment at Mary Bridge. A huge Thank You to the Lions who came to help on this project, as well as to the generous local merchants who provided fabulous items for our raffles! Another big Thank You also goes to those patrons who came to the breakfast in support of the Gig Harbor Lions Club!

Several Drop Box locations aroud town. These will go with the teddy bears that we bring in at the Applebee's fundraiser on April 1st!
The Gig Harbor Lions Club Christmas Giving Tree is Underway!
The members of the Gig Harbor Community are generous indeed! Last year, in cooperation with the Gig Harbor Peninsula FISH Food Bank, The Gig Harbor Lions Club collected over 2600 gifts and over $6000 worth of gift cards to be delivered to families in need at Christmas time.
This year, Over 40 local merchants have placed a Ghristmas Giving Tree in their businesses. The good people of Gig Harbor take the tags off the trees and purchase a gift for kids in need and return the unwrapped gifts it to the merchants. The Gig Harbor Lions then collect those gifts and deliver them to the FISH Christmas warehouse for direct distribution to families.
This year, it is our hope to exceed our numbers from last year. Your generosity can make that happen. All gifts should be unwrapped and returned to the merchant no later than December 11, 2022.
