Project Hemamali - Educational

Hemamali Vidyalaya is a mixed school at Ganemulla with close to 3000 students educating. Hemamamli Vidyalaya is an under privilege school as there are several up class schools are situated close by.

Lions club of Ganemulla Circle selected the Hemamami Vidyalaya for their March “mega project” (Project Hemamali) due to above reason and the Lion Senevirathna is the project leader who is also a senior teacher at the school.

The first ever Lion Ladies project launched at MOH, Ihala Imbulgoda, Imbulgoda. Senior lecture at Wickramarachchi Aurvedic Campus, Yakkala Lion Dr.Pushpa Jayakody conducted a lecture on ”mothers nutritious” and distributed essentials to mothers. (Marmite, soap, cologne, drinking mug)

 Lions club of Ganemulla Circle celebrated her 50^th project and eight projects were done to celebrate the event. Tree planting, distribution of account books, guest lecture, disable donation and distribution of gifts were part of this mega project.
