We Chartered on 29th June 2007, with Lion Stefan Szafran being our first, and Charter, Club President.

The Motto of Lions Clubs is "Ordinary people - Amazing things", and how true that is.  Membership of the Lions Clubs is open to both males and females, age is no barrier and you don't have to have a high flying job to be a Lion.

We spend our efforts of FUNdraising, with the emphasis on FUN.

As individuals, we are limited in what we can achieve, but collectively, the impossible suddenly becomes achievable.

Obviously, the more Club members we have, the more we can do to raise funds, funds which, on the whole, go to help local organisations and individuals.

We currently meet once a month, on the second Monday, at The Horse and Jockey, 42 Church Street. Gainsborough.  All we ask of you is a few hours of your time, be it for the monthly meeting or helping run our various commitments.
