The Lions Club of Frederick has a long tradition of providing community members in need with eye exams and glasses through our partnerships with local optometrists. In the past year alone, 27 eye exams and/or glasses were provided to adults without insurance coverage for these services.

The Lions Club of Frederick, is  very grateful to have received a Strategic Funding for Health Needs Grant from The Community Foundation of Frederick County which has helped to cover the cost of eye exams and glasses each year from 2013 through the end of 2020.

​We are also gratefule for those wishing to donate their spare or out-dated prescription glasses to be re-cycled for those in desparate need. Visit "Club  Projects" to determine closest donation sites.
