These are pictures of some of our Lions Club annual projects. The picture above is from our "spring cleanup" in May when we pitch in and spruce up the seven Fort welcome signs to the city. The motivation is a steak dinner afterwards!

And then there is our biggest event in August! Our annual chicken & corn dinner at Jones Park. In 2017 1439 people showed up to enjoy our delicious cooking!

The serving line for the chicken & corn roast - without our women members, it wouldn't taste half as good!

Tied in the same day with the dinner, we also host the Tour de Fort Bike Ride on the same day which attracted 223 bikers in 2017!

Some of our members enjoying the day at the annual Lions Pride Shoot Fundraiser at Milford Hills.held each June.

Another event is our Annual Smelt Fry in March or April, with cod and smelt, held every spring with close to 800 people attending every year!

From May into August, each of us take 2 or 3 turns at manning our refreshment stand at Ralph Park during the baseball season. Usually 3 Lions work each night, and it's a great chance to get to know one another.

Each year in July we tend the 4 gates at the County Fair for a day. It is always a lot of fun!

One "hidden" project year around you don't hear much about, but is a central theme of Lions, is collecting eye glasses. The Lion standing next to one of the boxes, Gale Puerner, made 18 of these which are scattered around the city.

In April and October some of our members clean a stretch of Hwy 12 west of town. It is just an hour or so and a beer or two afterwards, maybe. Their leader, Mark Anderson, must have taken this pic. He is shy.
