Blankets For Fire Department
Lions Deborah and Audrey purchased blankets for the Fire Department.
HANDS ON SERVICE PROJECT
Zone Chairperson Joe McNeil makes club visit and presents 1st place certificate for ‘BEST NEW HANDS-ON SERVICE PROJECT’ for first half of Lions year. Project ‘Operation Christmas Night Night’ provided children shoes, socks, shirts, jeans, card games, books, stuffed animals, and a book bag out of homelessness.
VISION SCREENING
Vision Screening at Florence Kid's Jamboree. The two-day event yield 316 screenings with 123 referrals to seek professional assistance. Lion Deborah, Vision Screening Chairperson.

Christmas Service Project
“Making The Season Bright”
Club members and volunteer shopping for clothing items and shoes for needy and underprivileged children. School nurses provided list of items to be purchased for each child in club's catchment area.
Deliveries
Book Bags
Lions Audrey and Deborah delivered book bags to The Counseling Center of Florence and Carver Elementary School. The Center offers a range of empirically supported therapies and approaches to address and manage a broad range of mental health behavorial, and relationship issues for client.

Emergency Shelter Item
Lions Deborah and Audrey deliver emergency items to Courtney McGinnis Graham Community Shelter. The shelter is able to accommodate short stays for single men, women, and families working with a case manager to determine the next step.

Centennial Legacy Bench Unveiling
Lions Matt, Waylon, Deborah unveil bench with Centennial Plaque as part of B K Kelly’s All-Inclusive Playground. The playground was built for kids with all abilities to be able to play together as one.
