Lion Karen Winslow has been elected Falmouth Lions President for 2022-23. Lion Karen has been active in our club as well as for a few years. We look forward to continuing our succes with her leadership and that of Treasurer Jim Mullin and Secretary Aaron Tufts.

We raised several thousand dollars to help us continue to support our community.

Memorial Day: after the parade Falmouth Lions Wood Crew presented and set a granite post in memory of Steve Linsky, who donated wood for harvesting to the Lions over the past 3 years. We continue to harvest wood from Steve & Darlene's property off Merrill Road . The wood sales provide much needed funds to support the programs we support in our community.
May 2022 Lions Barney Schneider, Rick Lajoie and the late Bob Cheney were honored with the Melvin Jones award ( the highest Lions recognition) for outstanding work in Falmouth LIons. The three help make our club one of the finest clubs in Maine!
We mourn the loss of our dear friend Bob Cheney, March 2022. Bob was an active member and involved in parking, auction/yard sale, and wood harvesting. He offered to help with anything and everything. He will be forever missed.
Lion Gwen Bassinger has been elected Falmouth Lions President for 2021-22. Lion Gwen has been active in our club as well as for other Greater Portland area organizations. We look forward to continuing our succes with her leadership and that of VP Karen Winslow, Treasurer Jim Mullin and Secretary Anna Allen.

Activities:
Honoring veterans by placing flags on veterans graves has become an annual activity of Falmouth Lions. We are very grateful for the sacrifice these people have made for our freedom.

Lions Paul Nassif,Lisa Nassif, Mary Rand, Melanie Collins, Bob Cheney and Ben Boudreau were installed by VDG Tia Knapp on Januaury 24. Sponsors Tony Hayes, Leslie Couper, Marcus Therrian and John Winslow are will assure them that they have all the information and guidance to serve well.

The returnable bottle donation shed at West Falmouth Crossing has been closed by order of the business properrty owners at West Falmouth Crossing. The club and the town are working to find a new location. Over $80,000 in bottles has been donated at the building since it was built as a Boy Scout Eagle Project in 2001. All monies have been directed to Falmouth High School student activities during that time.
Please consider donating bottles at Bucknam Rd Fire Station or at Woods Rd Transfer Station. Thank You
Helping our neighbors is a rewarding project
Lion President Marcus leads team of Falmouth Lions ( John, Dana and Rick) installing a new door for a Falmouth resident. Door was donated by local business Rich Exterior Solutions, Gray Rd.
Thanks to our great community for another successful Lions Auction. It could not hapen without support of The Town and Falmouth Public Works hosting us at the Sand Shed!
Also our wonderful neighbors who donate the items and freiends like the Falmouth Boy Scout Troop.
VDG Now DG Neil Iverson inductes Lion Marcus Therrien as new President at out annual Banquet. This coming year will be an active and rewarding year for club members with Lion Marcus at the helm. He has shown that he will be a fine leader and dilligent delegator!
