We mourn the loss of our dear friend Bob Cheney, March 2022.  Bob was an active member and involved in parking, auction/yard sale, and wood harvesting.  He offered to help with anything and everything.  He will be forever missed.

Falmouth Lions Auction 2022 had to be cancelled again, due to the covid 19 issue and not having use of the Town sand shed, we will hold a yard sale again this year and will be picking up donations for that event.

‚ÄčLion Gwen Bassinger has been elected Falmouth Lions President for 2021-22. Lion Gwen has been active in our club as well as for other Greater Portland area organizations. We look forward to continuing our succes with her leadership and that of VP Karen Winslow, Treasurer Jim Mullin and  Secretary Anna Allen.

Gwen can be contacted at 207-518-9360

May 2021 Lions John Winslow, Marcus Therrien and Kirk Herbert were honored with the Melvin Jones award ( the highest Lions recognition) for outstanding work in Falmouth LIons. The three help make our club one of the finest clubs in Maine! The award could also be given to Falmouth citizens as a whole because without their generosity we could not do the "good" that we do.

Honoring veterans by placing flags on veterans graves has become an annual activity of Falmouth Lions. We are very grateful for the sacrifice these people have made for our freedom.

The club and the town are working to find a new location. Over $80,000 in bottles has been donated at the building since it was built as a Boy Scout Eagle Project in 2001. All monies have been directed to Falmouth High School student activities during that time.

Please consider donating bottles at Bucknam Rd Fire Station or at Woods Rd Transfer Station. Thank You
