The Permanent Project - Lions Club of Erode

       The   permanent   project   under    taken   by the  club  is the school run  by   the club for  the  physically  challenged students at Sengodamapallam  underthe name Erode Arima Society Trust.  Under the  able  guidance of  Lion Dr.L.M.Ramakrishnan PMJF Correspondent, BVB Schools, 140 inmates are taken care in this residential school. This is the only Lions Club project run for the inmates without charging them. The students are trained to face the life. They are given free computer training. Eye screening tests are conducted for the students regularly. As the students need treatment for their physical ailments, a physiotherapist comes to teach them exercise. A small unit is also fixed in the premises to train them regularly.
