We Serve

As Lions we live by the motto "We Serve" and the Ellsworth Lions Club takes that very seriously.  Not all service opportunites are scheduled and there are other options as well.  

We invite you to join us in service to our community.  Below are our current list of activities planned for the rest of 2024.  Check our calendar for specific times and check back often, as new opportunties often come up.  You can also find out more information on our Facebook page.

July 2024

• Ruby's Pantry, July 6th
  • Distribution is at Pierce-Pepin Coop
  • Lions often volunteer to help distribute the food
• Together Thursdays, July 11 and 25th
  • East End Park as part of the Farmers Market
  • Serve Free Hot Dogs, Chips and Water to community
  • School Supply Collection
• Tubing for the Arts, July 20th
  • Help Direct people safely to and from Tubing area
• Red Cross Blood Drive, July 22 

August 2024

• Ruby's Pantry, August 3rd
  • Distribution is at Pierce-Pepin Coop
  • Lions often volunteer to help distribute the food
• Pierce County Fair, August 8-11 (email liz.dietsche@co.pierce.wi.us for opportunites, mention you are doing it for the Lions and the Lions will earn the proceeds from your time)

September 2024

• Ruby's Pantry, September 7th
  • Distribution is at Pierce-Pepin Coop
  • Lions often volunteer to help distribute the food
• Fall Garage Sale, September 19-21
  • Free Will Donations on all items, unless specially marked
  • Proceeds will go to a specific organization as voted by membership

October 2024

• Ruby's Pantry, October 5th
  • Distribution is at Pierce-Pepin Coop
  • Lions often volunteer to help distribute the food
• Pierce Pepin Pancake Breakfast, Octonber 2
  • Free breakfast for the community sponsored by Pierce-Pepin Cooperative Services
  • Lions make the pancakes and serve the individuals coming through the line

November 2024
