The 20th Annual Poker Classic was held in the Lisdoo, Dundalk on Sunday 15th November. As well as the main event in the Lisdoo, satellites were held in the Lisdoo, McKeown's Clanbrassil Street, and The Clermont Blackrock, in the week leading up to the Poker Classic. These satellites offered players the opportunity to win tickets for the main event. 85 players participated in the Poker Classic and food was provided for all on the night. Half of the income from the event went in prizes. The remainder will go towards providing food for our annual Christmas Food Hamper initiative. Thanks to all the players and sponsors for supporting the event and helping to make it a great success. A special word of thanks to Gerry Curtis, MC for the night, and to Adrienne and all the staff of the Lisdoo.
