Secretary’s Minutes – April 2025
Motion to accept Secretary’s Minutes: 1st – Lion K. Mutzabaugh; 2nd – Lion Cliff Brown All members present voted in favor of the motion.
Treasurer’s Report – Lion Tim Myers
Motion to accept Treasurer’s Report: 1st – Lion P. Mutzabaugh; 2nd – Lion K. Mutzabaugh All members present voted in favor of the motion.
COMMITTEES:
Campground – Lion J. McKensie/Lion K. Mutzabaugh
Some of the trimming has been done. Letter given to Lot 30/31 for the size of their pool and refilling it every day.
Campground Finance Report – Lion T. Singer
Nothing to report
Clubhouse – Lion Shawn Fuller
The person hired to do the Clubhouse grass is not keeping up with the grass. .Someone will be talking to him to see why.
Eyeglasses – Lion Tim Myers
Nothing to report
Fundraising – Lion Cherie Stokes / Lion Penny Mutzabaugh
$777 was the total given to Lion T. Myers for ticket sales the last 2 months.
Lion C. Stokes needs to get all unsold tickets so they are available to sell at the Duck Derby. There are still two outstanding packs. Volunteers are still needed during the Derby. See Lion C. Stokes or Lion R. Warfel to do so.
Membership – Lion Scott Warfel
There are two applications plus spouses. Waiting on two more. They will be at the next meeting to be voted on.
Public Relations – Lion Lynn Rothermel
Lion L. Rothermel has resigned her position. A new Public Relations volunteer is needed.
Lion R. Warfel read a letter from Susquenita thanking the Club.
Disaster Relief – Lion Ron Warfel
Nothing to report
V. Old Business
T-shirts from Artistic Image are a minimum order of 24. S, M, L, XL are $12, 2XL are $14, 3XL are $15. Will decided at the next board meeting who we want to get shirts.
VI. New Business
- Membership Dues are due –
- Lion R. Warfel made signs to post with a breakdown of costs.
- Approval needed to purchase six $50 gift cards from Karns for the Duck Derby –

- All members present voted in favor of the motion.
- Public Relations position needs filled. No volunteers.
- Borough water restrictions –
- Ideas on how to make sure campers are aware.

- Lion R. Warfel is going to check with B. Rothermel on who updates the website. Hasn’t been updated in years.
- Motion to stop mailing meeting minutes and using email.
- Saves money on supplies
- Put a copy of minutes on the board in the Clubhouse and one on the board at the campground.
