The Dennis Harwich Lions Club has many community projects.

Earth Day - Helped clean up Town of Dennis on Appreciation Day.

White Cane Days.  We collect for eye research.

We are the sponsors for two beaches in Dennis:  Princess (Scargo), in Dennis, and the Sea Street Beach in Dennisport.  We also participate in the Dennis town-wide clean up day in the spring.

In th past, we offered a free Santa Breakfast as part of the Visions Stroll in Dennis in December, offering free pictures with Santa.

We sponsor a youth baseball team for the DY school district and we sponsor a youth recreational program in Harwich.

We collect eyeglasses - sort, wash, read, package, and distribute to 3rd world countries.

We collect hearing aids which will be refurbished and distributed to individuals in need by the Massachusetts Lion Hearing Foundation.

We lend out a Vitrectomy Chair for those who need it after eye surgery.

We offer Scholarships and/or Toolship Awards to students who live in Dennis or Harwich and who attend Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School, Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, or the Monomoy Regional High School.

We sponsor a Youth Speech Contest.  

We raised money for the fire departments of Dennis and Harwich and presented each with a five hundred dollar check.

We offer Diabetes Awareness Programs.
