CLUB PROJECTS
Our club is dedicated to improving our community. In the past we have initiated innovative programs such as the Lions Economic Stimulus Program in which we distributed 150 $25 vouchers to local residents. These vouchers were redeemable only with local businesses. We supported the Wild West Gundog Shootout Challenge from it's inception. Following are examples of current club projects:

DAYTON VALLEY DOG PARK
Dayton Valley Dog Park is a primary program of the Lions Club. Our goal is to assist the Dog Park program in implementing a safe and attractive area for residents to take their pets. Click on the Dog Park tab on the left for more information.

VISION SCREENINGS
The club conducts regular vision screenings in the community. We own one of only three Visigraph EyeTracking computers in the state. We assist those in need of referrals, eyeglasses and vision therapy as needed. More Details

GOLF TOURNAMENT
This annual event  produces the funds needed to support our service activities. Click on the Golf tab on the left for more information.

FLAG DAY
The club conducts an annual flag education program for 4th and 5th grade students in local schools.  Students learn about flag history, it's significance and protocol.

CAMP DAT SO LA LEE
Each year we send two campers to Camp Dat-So-La-Lee.  This one week camp is operated by the Lions District of Nevada in Lamoille Canyon in the Ruby Mountains south of Elko.  Ten and eleven year olds from families that are unable to send children to camp are sponsored by the club.

OUR PARK

The club regularly rakes and cleans the park and has contributed $3,500 toward the construction of handicapped accessability.
