The Cressona Lions Club has a long history of providing playgrounds for our children and youth and supporting other youth programs in the Cressona area. We support research into eye-related diseases, as well as the Northeast PA Lions Eye Bank. We collect used eyeglasses and make sure that people who need glasses or treatment for sight-threatening conditions are cared for. We support our fire companies and the Leo club at Blue Mountain High School. We also support a scholarship for graduating seniors at Blue Mountain High School, as well as sending juniors to the annual Lions Youth Leadership Seminar. We make sure that residents have a good meal at Christmas.

We work with the Friedensburg Fire Company and the Wayne Township Lions Club to provide a Red Cross Blood Drive bi-monthly. We partner with the American Legion to provide leadership fro the annual Memorial Day program for Cressona. We provide a reading program at the Cressona Elementary School.
