The Calumet City Lions Club currently conducts two major fund-raisers on an annual basis:

(1)  $20,000  Raffle  

This is our club's main fund-raiser. The drawing is held on the second Friday in May at 8 p.m. in the main hall of the VFW, 664 Hirsch. It is broadcast live on the Calumet City Lions Facebook Page and winning numbers are available at www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/calumet city  Ten prizes ranging from $20,000 to $200 are awarded. Two Early Bird drawings for $250 and $1,000 are held prior to the Big Drawing. Only 500 tickets at $100 each are sold and may be purchased from any Lion member.

 The club's 69th annual breakfast was held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in the Hoover Memorial School cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees enjoyed an  "All-You-Can-Eat" meal featuring pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, milk and coffee/tea. As always, it was a time of great food, great friends and great fun -- thanks to the dedication and preparation of many hard-working Lions and volunteers.
