The Kal Haven Trail Lions are happy to be the sponsor of our  local Boy Scout Troop 171.  We have been their only sponsor.

Every Spring we participate in the annual White Cane collection program to raise money for sight projects.

We hold a Shotgun Raffle every fall right before deer season where we raffle a 12 ga. shotgun and a black powder shotgun.

Every summer we participate in the local Memorial Day parades of both Bloomingdale and Gobles communities.

Every fall we participate in Bloomingdale's Oktoberfest selling hot dogs, and brats.

Every Christmas season we co-sponsor a kids Christmas Party with Jan's Restaurant in Gobles where children are welcome to get a free picture with Santa Clause, receive a new toy, and are treated to sloppy joes, chips, cookies and hot chocolate.  Each year we entertain over 40 children..Children under 5 are offered free vision screening by our District's Project Kid Sight committee.

Once a month members volunteer at a local Hospice Thrift Store, receiving and sorting donations.
