The Bloomingdale - Gobles Kal Haven Trail Lions Club was chartered on June 6, 1994 and serves the South West Michigan communities of Bloomingdale and Gobles.  So, what about that name?

The Kal Haven Trail is a 34 mile linear bicycle trail that stretches from South Haven Michigan on Lake Michigan east to Kalamazoo Michigan along an abandoned rail line.  Hence, the club name Kal Haven.  The trail bisects the two communities of Bloomingdale and Gobles and is popular with an estimated 90,000 users each year.  Click on the link to see a map of our area.

Our members are your friends and neigbors.  We are a family group with over half our members being families.  We have a couple of realtors, an auctioneer, a pharmacist, a teacher, a librarian, a massage therapist, a supermarket manager and some retired folks.  All united in the common goal of making our communities a better place to live.  Our members range in age from 20 to 92
