Activities done for the month of August 2013
The educational fees of 10 students belonging to the under privileged community doing their course from Victoria College & Rajiv Gandhi college is handed to the principal for doing a free course in their arts graduation for the year 2013-14.
A Community & Cultural Activity was organized on the friendship day on 7th August 2013 where clothes, food were distributed to the needy women
Independence Day Celebration
Independence day was celebrated at Rajiv Gandhi School were members of more than 5 lions clubs & lionesses club also particiapted in the event. The chief guest on this occasion was VDG-I 323 G2 Ln. Dr. Prakash Seth. Region Chaiperson Ln. Rita Dalela & Zone Chairperson Ln. Fozia Ali, Principal, staff, students & invited guest was also present on this occassion. The program was followed by flag hosting, cultural program by the students and also plantation at the campus, Sweets packet was distributed to all the students on this occasion

A Rakhi competition was organised at Manav Sansadhan Vikas Samiti, Bhopal where more than 50 participated at the on spot rakhi making competition. first three prizes was distributed to the winners in different age cateogory & a complimentary gift was given to all the participants

mehandi & rakhi making was organized at old campion school, bhopal on 19thAugust 2013 on occassion of the festival rakhi were more than 200 students participated in rakhi making and mehandi art competition. 5 winners were selected for both the categories & were awarded prizes, the best winner in the both the cateogries were awarded with a cash prize of rs 501 each. for all the participants in both the cateogary a complimentary pen set was given
mega eye check up camp

was organized on 20th August 2013
at red cross campus. More than 300 patients examined their eye check up, many renowned opthamologist took actively part in the camp. free cataract operations were also conducted for the patients who needed immediate surgery. free medicines were also given to the patients who had conjuctivites, an awarness on eye donation was also conducted during the camp, many of them also pledged their eyes for donation.
A library was inaugurated by our district governor Ln. Anandkant Bhatt at our club meeting place & office at shubhalay.com. On this occasion our VDG-I Ln. Dr. Prakash Seth, RC- Ln. Rita Dalela, many senior lion leaders, members of the club were present. The Library will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM every day and aims to facilitate its users in their endeavor for study, The Library at present houses more than 500 Books, it has a rich collection of books in different discipline like Computer Science, Management Sciences, Basic Sciences, Pharmacy, Hindi/English Fictions and Non-Fictions, Religious Books etc.
