Belle River Lions Club Projects

• Bingos - 2 to 3 per month
• Support of the Food Bank with an annual "Fill the Bus" event through the club's Lakeshore Leo Club and turkeys for Christmas as well as Christmas cakes and hams for Easter.  The club is also collecting empty beer and liquor bottles.  All the proceeds from these collections will go towards Building Maintenance.  If in the Belle River area, contact Lion Debbie at (519) 728-0340 or drop them off at 532 St. Charles Street.  If in the Tilbury area, contact Lion Joyce at (519) 682-9422 or drop them off at 4800 Richardson Sideroad.
• Sponsor a Leo club - children age 12 to 18
• Opening Day of Baseball - hotdogs for the children playing baseball and their family and friends
• Stroll the Street Events - serve hotdogs, pop, water and chips - May, June, September & October
• SunSplash - July 12th - Friday night - Car Show - selling hot dogs, pop, chips and water
• Diabetes Day
• Remembrance Day Parade
• Christmas Cake & Shortbread Sales
• Pasta Fundraiser event - 1 in March
• Donate to youth groups such as: Girl Guides, Belle River Highschool Hockey Team, Children's D Camps, Children's PJ Walk for Cancer, Connection Early Years, Fight Like Mason Foundation, Lakeshore Minor Baseball Association, Scouts and Skate Lakeshore
• Loan medical equipment by request for free
