Contribute to various Lions Charities and each year donate to the Parade of Checks at the District Lions Convention

Sponsor the Bob Wright Swim Relays at Bedford High School

Maintain an emergency fund with the Bedford Police Department for people in need of food and lodging

Provide eye exams and eyeglasses, and/or operations to people who need them

Distribute annual Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets to the needy

Contributes to the Berea Children's Home

Contributes to the West Geauga Special Olympics

Bedford Lions Club members work with/ and or support various local organizations, such as the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, Bedford Community Council, as well as the Bedford School District, and the Police Department.

 We have an annual Scholarship Raffle. We sell 200 tickets for $25.00 each. Each number has a chance to win $125.00, $75.00, or $50.00 every month. Tickets are put back in for the whole year.The tickets for this year 2014 have all been sold so good luck to all who bought tickets.

We have recently begun a program for people who need hearing aids. We are taking applications from those in the community who may be in need of Hearing Aid services. Contact any member if you need an application.

If you have any retired hearing aids or cell phones, you can bring them to any regular meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. We would be glad to meet you.
