The Bedford Lions club participates in the International Lions Clubs initiative for recycling eye glasses to those in need in third world countries.  Local drop-off centers for used prescription and non-prescription eye glasses  include:

     Manchester/Bedford Eye Care  -- 779 S. Main Street, Manchester

     Medical Eye Center -- 250 N. River Road, Manchester

     Dartmouth-Hitchcock Center -- 25 South River Road, Bedford
