MEDICAL SUPPLIES NEEDED

Got crutches? Or other medical equipment you're no longer using? The Bedford Lions Club runs a medical supply recycle program and we would appreciate any of your donations! They will be quickly used, either by a member of our community, or delivered to our partner organizations in Yonkers NY or Portland ME for shipment around the world.

Equipment can be left at our humanitarian coordinator’s house against the garage door or inside the garage if it’s raining. Address: 7 Freedom Way in Bedford. We also have a collection area at the Bedford Transfer Station if that's more convenient (77 Chubbuck Road).

All types of durable medical equipment and medical supplies including CPAPs, adult diapers, crutches, canes, walkers, transport chairs and some wheelchairs are needed, however:

• NO: Electric wheelchairs

• NO: Hospital beds

• NO: Commodes/toilets

• NO: Pharmaceuticals or medications

• NO: Expired supplies
