Bob Cook Games
An annual sports gala for people with disabilities
This event was held on Sunday 14th August at The County Ground, Swindon. Several members of Barry Lions Club accompanied participants and their carers to the event where many track and field events took place including shot put, javelin, wellie throwing, races and wheelchair races.
Many prizes and medals were won on the day making the whole event a memorable one for participants, their carers and Lions.
The Lions Club of Chippenham work very hard organising the event with funds being donated by Lions Clubs throughout the District. These funds are raised by clubs holding activities throughout the year.
Thanks to all Lions who helped and to all who attend our fundraising events.
