Thanks to Penarth Lifeboat
Barry Lions Club held a successful Quiz Night to raise funds for the Penarth Lifeboat.
This money has been spent on essential training equipment.
Members of Barry Lions Club were treated to a very interesting talk on
Penarth Lifeboat Station, the Lifeboats and on RNLI.
The talk was followed by a tour of the station and the opportunity to take a close look at the Lifeboats.
The main lifeboat is an Atlantic 85, B-839 Maureen Lillian.
Launched by an M3 Submersible Tractor.
Thanks to all at Penarth Lifeboat Station - not only for their hospitatlity but also for being there, always ready to help and to save countless lives while risking their own.
